With the game virtually over, the Eagles came out with nothing to lose with Darren Nelson on top in the middle and Ryan Miller dominating up forward and Collie managed 7.3 (45).

In the final quarter Collie started well, but with three early misses it enabled Busselton to hang on and win by 12 points.

The final score was Busselton 15.9 (99) to Collie Eagles 12.15 (87).

Best players: D Nelson, R Miller, B Hart, D Hart, D McLeod.
